What changes
Every reason step contests fade, designed out.
Step contests are won by the same few runners, and everyone else quits by week two. Ironstride is built the other way around.
How it works
Four steps to race day one.
Pick a road
A famous American road, or the road between your two offices.
Make teams, or not
Departments, clinics or classes, or everyone on their own board.
Share the code
Send the announcement or print the poster with its QR code. People join free.
Watch it move
Put the live board on any screen, then roll into the finish together.
Close to home
A famous road, or a lap of the office.
Race coast to coast as a company, or keep it close: a lunch loop around the building, a route between your two offices, or a 5K for a cause. Every mile anyone moves, anywhere, counts for the team.

The organizer kit
Everything you need, ready to send.
- An announcement with the join code, ready to copy or share
- A poster with a QR code to print or post
- A big-screen link for the meeting-room TV, first names only
- A recap at the finish: team totals as a spreadsheet file and a finish postcard to share
- Typed-in workouts follow your rules, so the race stays fair
A perk people actually open
Your people get the whole app, free.
Not a login to a wellness portal. Members get the same Ironstride anyone downloads: their own vehicle to build up, live races, Ghost race, Move together with friends and family, and their own road trips long after your challenge ends.

Questions
Good questions.
What if someone doesn’t run?
They walk, hike, bike or row, and every mile counts the same. Strength days keep their streak. Teams are ranked by miles per person, so nobody has to be fast.
Do members pay anything?
No. Members always join free. The organization pays for groups bigger than 15.
What can the organizer see?
Miles, teams and towns on the shared road. Never anyone’s real route or where they live.
Are there ads?
No ad networks and no tracking across apps, and we never sell data. Organizers may show their own sponsors on their own event screens, results and patches.
Does it work on Android?
Yes. Ironstride is free on iPhone and Android, and Apple Health can bring in watch workouts on iPhone.
What can we show leadership at the end?
The recap at the finish: team totals as a spreadsheet file and a finish postcard to share. During the challenge, the live board shows every team’s miles per person.
How fast can we start?
Today. Setup takes about ten minutes in the app: pick a road, make teams, share the code. Up to 15 people is free, with no card.
Can we use it for a 5k or fun run?
Yes. See 5k and fun runs.
