For big public events and fun runs
Put your whole community on the road.
One open challenge, thousands of people, one real road. Everyone sees their own place, and the live board shows the whole crowd moving. People join free.

Sample numbers to show the idea.
Big or small
Coast to coast, or around the block.
The big map above is one kind of event. A fun run in your town, a city 10K or a lunch loop at work fits too.
Example · Town 5K
A 5K fun run through town
3.1 miles from the park, along the river and back down Main Street. Families walk it, runners race it.
Example · City 10K
A 10K along the lakefront
6.2 miles out of downtown, up the lake and back. The weeks before race day can be a road of their own.
Example · Workplace challenge
A lunch loop at the office
1.5 miles around the pond and the streets next door. Every mile anyone moves, at lunch or anywhere, counts for the team.
Made-up places to show the idea. Course maps on the sign-up page come with the fun-run tools we’re designing now; today an event moves along a road you pick.
Why organizers add Ironstride
Race day is one morning. Make it a whole season.
What everyone sees
Thousands of people. Everyone has a place.
Your place
Your rank, your climb since yesterday and the next milestone. Only you see it.
The board for everyone
The top of the crowd, with racers who prefer to stay hidden shown as hidden.

5k and fun runs
Running a 5k or a fun run? Make it a month, not a morning.
A city turkey trot, a school fun run, a company 5k or a charity walk. Ironstride adds the weeks before race day and a big screen on the day itself.
- Up to four weeks beforeEveryone who signs up moves along a training road, like your town to the next one. Walkers, runners and riders all count, as teams, families or classrooms.
- Race dayThe live board goes on the screen at the finish. People who can’t be there record their 5k in the app from anywhere, and it counts.
- AfterA patch for everyone who takes part and a recap with the totals, ready for next year.
Keep your sign-ups where they are
Already use a registration site? Keep it. Link to it from your Ironstride event, and we add the training road, the boards and the big screen.
What we’re building next
Sign-up without the app, race-day check-in and finish-line results, so people without a phone can join in too. Tell us what your event needs and help shape it.
